“ Taylor (male) was my waiter/server and he was really nice! This was my second time coming to State Fare and both times were great. I didn’t get a picture of my food because once it came I totally forgot and dug in lol. The drinks were good and so was the food. I ordered the blackberry cocktail and the other is a pineapple crusher. For food I ordered crab dip, 1 lb shrimp, and lemon pepper wings. All from the happy hour (1/2 off) menu. Everything tasted great. The shrimp could’ve used some more old bay, butter, and garlic powder but they were still good! And the onions they cook with the shrimp are chefs kiss. I could eat a bowl of those to myself, lol. Atmosphere was great, the music could’ve had a little more feel good/umph to it. I like to move my shoulders while I eat lol. Overall it was a great experience. I can’t wait to go back ”
“ Omgosh the breakfast/brunch was excellent. I went with my husband and three of our kids. None of which ate from the kids menu, though. Everything was so good! Especially the outside seating and the service. Lex was great! Fast, friendly, accurate. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! ”
“ I went on a Saturday, just after the boozy brunch crowd, and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great, and the food was amazing—we ordered the honey Old Bay wings, Philly cheesesteak, chicken tenders, and the burger. The drinks were also excellent, and the atmosphere was definitely a vibe. I really enjoyed the music and the diverse mix of people—young and old, families and couples, and a variety of backgrounds including white, Asian, Hispanic and Black guests. I would definitely go back! ”
“ WOW!!! I wish I could give bartender RYAN 6 (SIX!!!) stars for service. I stepped away for a brief moment and I came back to my seat with my water already poured. He knows I don't drink but still keeps me hydrated. The food is delicious. Yander is also the best. I love this place. DJ Micah Diggs gets the place hopping with his beer pong tournaments on Tuesdays. ALL THE STARS FOR STATE FARE! ”
“ Best food I’ve had in a long time. Our waitress Tammy was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and definitely one of the reasons we will be back again. The big sticks mozzarella was fresh and juicy and perfectly breaded. The crab cake egg rolls had the best sauce. The fries were different than any other fries I’ve had before. They were a cross between a curly fry and steak fries but also reminded me of funnel cake. The bacon ranch chicken was delicious. I literally can not wait to come back. ”
“ Went for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Generous pours. The food came out HOT and was super fresh tasting. Our server was helpful and checked on us regularly. The spicy chicken sandwich was like CFA on steroids, bursting with flavor and huge. Steamed shrimp was perfect. One of our dining partners got the chicken and waffle. HUGE and delicious. Had to take half home. We will definitely be back. ”
“ First time giving it a try. Wonderful experience. The menu has several options that all sounded really good - we had a hard time choosing - a good problem to have. All of our food tasted great. The service was excellent. The ambiance was great, too. Fair pricing for the overall experience. Will definitely go back (to try more menu items). ”
“ Today we ordered delivery for breakfast: Mixed berry French toast; regular French toast; shrimp and grits, and potatoes. Everything was seasoned well (bits of bacon in the shrimp/grits. Seasoned salt on the potatoes and the creamiest slather of goodness better the slices on the mixed berry, not to mention and full cup of actually fresh blueberries and strawberries). It costs a bit more but at least it's worth it! We'll be trying their lunch later.... ”
